anyone know of a place around cinci that welds the cams in the GenIII SHOs?
my dad is buying a 99 tomorrow and the cams havent been welded yet, so he wants to get that done as soon as he can.

Isn't there a Ford Performance Specialists in Ohio? I think so, the Ohio and Atlanta one, but don't quote me on that. Even if the FPS in Ohio isn't around Cincinatti, I'd recommend going there anyways. How many miles does the car have on it?

the only FPS is down in GA.....and from Cincy, it's only about an 8 hour drive and well worth the trip. They welded mine....AWESOME guys....I just don't advise staying at the Lee's Motel if you stay there overnight.....scary friggin place, man..

CinciSHO used to be there... not sure if A. they're still in business or B. if they weld cams.

I'd take the advice there, too- if Tim tells you it's a scary place, it's a scary place. Especially if hapiness is a belt-fed weapon... It's gotta take a lot.

They are not gone. I work on all of Steve's cars. I will admit that he does not do what he used to. But.... We are thinking of giving CinciSHO and overhaul. That is down the road though.

As for the first question. I went to Swinford Engineering in Lafayette Indiana to have my cams welded. Stand up guy. And just an FYI , when the transmission goes.... And it will. I can fix that here in Cincinnati.
