whats going on forum. I got a problem. Front passenger side of car, at low rpms just above idle i'm getting a loud rattling sound. Doesnt do it at high rpms, or in the morning when the car is cold. Sounds like it may be comming from inside of the timing belt cover. (I hope not). Has anybody had this problem if so please help me out.

Thanks in Advance

If it indeed is coming from inside, I'm betting the timing belt tensioner is giving some play :oogle:

Well it could be a tensioner or a rod bearing issue. Best bet would be the tensioner and it's not a simple job but can be done. As for the tensioner itself you'll need to find someone with a good one or check FPN and see if they have one. I think Fred Hurder may have a new one but I won't swear to it. I'm hopped up on Nyquil right now.
