Going to use fender metal to patch quarters

Since no one makes quarter panel patches, I'm thinking of using a spare fender to patch my rusty rear wheel-well flare...

Any predictions?

Tom any metal can make patchs, I think it will turn out good

hey as long as the lines are the same or you can make them look the same I see no reason why it won't come out nice.
