Thanks for letting me become a member of this community! Ive worked as a Ford mechanic the last eight years now, and have always noticed how well the SHO has held up compared to our other models. After driving a 3 cylinder Focus for the last 5 years, I purchased a one-owner 2015 that got traded in. Im loving it so far, and eager to keep learning about the platform from an aftermarket standpoint.

Welcome. Being a Ford tech is a huge bonus for owning these. Change the 'lifetime' ptu fluid. It gets overheated in there and breaks down and gums up

Welcome, do a whole system flush and start the 5 out and 5 in trans fluid swap. The 6f55 in our cars seems to not like dirty fluid. Drop the trans plug and around 5 quarts should drop. Measure and re-fill roughly 6 times and you will have majority of new trans fluid over 1000 miles. I do the 5 out and 5 in every other oil change now. Drill and tapping the PTU will make your life alot easier too.
