Well, I've been lurking the forum for a while and happened to scroll down and see the "Introduce Yourself." I've a "Ford Guy" since my first car (1969 Mustang GT Hardtop 351-4V) to the 2000 Lightning I sold before I bought my 2010 SHO.
My Dad always had a '55 or '56 Fairlane as I was growing up and he was a member of the Fabulous Fifties Ford Car Club in Phoenix (not sure if they're still around).
One could say that I bleed Ford Royal Blue.
Anyway, it's hard to believe that this car has more stock horsepower than my 2000 Lightning had stock. I got it pretty cheap because of the 137k miles but with a 3year/36k mile extended warranty I'm confident she'll be good to me. My only mod was to put the black "SHO" accent stripes on the hood (not pictured).
Thanks for taking your time to read about me and my car. I look forward to many years of reading your posts and seeking your guidance.
