Alright, is there a trick to getting the door skins off or do you just have to pull really hard? I can get every screw out, but then I try pulling out on the skin or pulling up or back and it just doesn't budge. Is there a trick to it or do I just have to pull really hard?

Thanks

I've never taken the rears off, but for the fronts. Only three screws: one on the sail panel, one under the pull handle, and I think there is one in the map pocket area. Then pick a corner to start and pull/pry up. A trim panel remover tool is sometimes helpful but you should be able to get your fingers under somewhere. If you're working on the driver's side door, try to pry under the lower left-hand side. You need to give enough force to get the plastic connector things to come out of their holes. If the panels were never removed before, it may be hard to do. Once you get one out, just make your way around the door.

Oh, yeah. Be careful of all the electronics (door locks, windows, express-down module, door light). You'll need to unplug those once you can get access to them. Be careful not to break any of the connections by pulling too much on the door panel.

I JUST took my driver's side interior door panel off last night on my '92.

In addition the last post, make sure you take the 2 screws out that hold the power door locks and power windows on the door. Flip it over and remove the 3 hex screws holding the whole assembly to the plastic cover. From there, just slide your fingers underneath and pull like a mean SOB! I actually had to sit on the ground with one foot on the back of the door to get the bottom off. The manual says to start at the bottom, but it doesn't really matter.

Why do you want to take it off? I took mine off to try and fix a squeak that was coming from the rear of the door. After like an hour of trying to take the damn door off (forgot about the screw under the pull handle (doh!), I finally got it off. The panel squeaks like a mean SOB even when its off! But that wasn't the problem. After taking the car for a ride without the interior door on the door was still squeaking! Since there was no plastic left on the door I figured it had to be the seals. Sure enough if I pulled ******* the door (stuck my hand in a little hold in the metal), the squeak would disappear! So I grabbed some rubber lubricant and sprayed the crap out of the seals. Seems to work pretty good so far.

Another note, on the inside of the interior panel at the bottom there are 3 studs that stick out below the pocket. My door had obviously been off before because someone cut up a face cloth and stuffed it between the studs and the pocket as they are pretty close and might have been rubbing and creating more plastic on plastic squeaking noises.

Anyway, good luck, let us know how it goes!
