anyone have a general idea of how much it will cost to drop another engine and atx in my '93 SHO? Trying to decide if I should just drop the ball and sell my SHO as a parts car. Thanks.

I'm looking around for these prices as well. Have a new(er) engine/tranny ariving on Sunday.
One of the few shops I've called that would even attempt the task quoted me around $1,200.
I'm getting the engine and tranny for less than that :( :)

thats about what I figured it would cost. I have a lead on a motor/trans. myself for a lot less than the price to install.

I'd do it for a small fee if I lived in Florida. To give you an idea, the shop I used to work at had RR time of 8-12 hours for a engine swap in a ranger.

Just in case you didn't notice this isn't a Ranger. :) I have no idea on the labor time of a engine pull but I'd have to assume it'd be at least 12 hrs. A professional clutch change is in the vicinity of 8-9 hrs. and there a lot more to an engine pull so take that for what it's worth.
