Gen1 spoiler quetions

was a spoiler optional on non-plus cars?
if so, is it different from the + spoiler, how so?

i don't know anything about the gen1/2 cars

Only factory spoiler for GEN1 SHO is the one that came with the SHO+ 1991 model year only.
