Back to the question. GEN II's have MUCH more room for FMIC's. Other than that, no major differences. I may even turbocharge a GEN II sometime.

To answer your question, I would think the 89 would also be the "easiest" due to the lack of ABS. However, both are important fo da extra "HOT SAUCE" under the hood.

Personally i think gen 2s are stealthier. 1st gens have a more noticable body kit. IMO

im bored so im gonne be a whore and say why have a turbo in a car with no abs and no airbag. btw he asked wether it was easier with fuel and electronics. Im pretty sure the car never changed in that category.

Also if you have a green gen II, it's a little faster than the rest from the factory.

i thought ya have to have a sticker kit and muffler tips with the green genII to be the fastest, oh and the black gen II with no maf and sticker kit with the tips are prob the fastest!!
