GEN III SHO Badges?

anyone have the Gen III sho badges (from the trunk lid) on their Gen II? i just got my W.C. Lewis badges in today (they look awesome!) and i wanna finish of the rear end i want to replace the taurus with the SHO badge from a gen II but don't know where to get the badges from unless i hack them off a Gen III. and i doubt many gen 3's are willing to depart with theirs.

anyone have any pics of this done?

i'd probably paint them green to match the rear deck like the stock badge, just looking to de 'taurus' my SHO as much as possible.

I got them on mine. The one I got was new in the plastic, can't remember if it was off of ebay or through someone on the forum. Just like the other rear badges the gen 3 SHO emblem has pegs that would fit into aligment holes so you have to cut those off. Another thing to keep in mind is that since the gen 3 is curved around the rear corners so are the emblems, just slighlty though....enough that its hard to get the emblem flush mounted with the deck lid. I put mine on the side of the ford badge instead of the taurus emblem.

actually i think a black one would look good on my rare green SHO. how should i mount it? just some strong emblem adhesive?

I just cut out double sided 3M tape

Yep yep I have it....the gen 3 badges I can part with for $25 shipped. (that is what I payed off of ebay) as far as the rear bumper cover, You are looking at $150 plus shipping on that one...if you have a grayhound close by they ship big stuff waaayy cheaper..
