That looks fun. Need more info on the setup. I know some engine shops in Grand Rapids, MI area, but that's a bit of a drive from Chicago. Are you talking machine shop work, tuning, or just general maintenance?
Thanks for the leads on engine shops. The car is a ~89-90 Ultima Sport or MK3. The manu doesn't keven now for sure as there were no chassis numbers when Lee Noble owned the tooling. The guys at Perfect Power (Buffalo Grove, Il) have been cursing it since I brought it in. They did a bunch of cleanup on the chassis and built some trick shocks and rear end. It was in rough shape and I don't think it had run in 15 years. Dynosource did the initial tuning once I got a Megasquirt in using some LS1 coils.
It's a 3.0l w/ a 915 transaxle. I have the secondaries coming in at 2600 and it dyno'd at 220 without the rear clam shell on. The shell doesn't allow for great breathing and I know my ait's must be high.
I picked up a junk yard 3.2 and have been collecting parts for a 3.2/3.0 cam and possibly TT setup. I don't want to move into a larger transaxle (G50/52) and am looking for 325/350 rwhp. I'm looking for a shop to rebuild my junker and do the cam swap.
I've had it out all season at BHF and ABCC. It's super analog and a blast to drive.
