Hello Group,
Just wondering what the best- looking - performing- tires that most owners replace for their SHO Using the stock 20" wheels.

What are you needing the tires for to be the best? Obviously if you're looking for pure performance then some summer performance tires are what you should get. But if you're going to drive it in the winter where it's cold/snowy and don't have a set of winter tires, then you might not want summer tires.

Definite +2 on the Pirelli Cintauratos but that is based on my SEL. I would give them a try on the SHO. My buddy I. The PAC NW got Continental DWS hopefully he will chime in soon. I got his Eagle F1's in Texas. For all season I would read reviews but Pirellis and or Continental DWS sound like good reviews.....check tire rack.com for reviews.

I got a set of Sumitomo HTR A/S P02. They are a new product and I only paid $126 a tire from tire rack with free road hazard protection! (245/45/20)
We have had 4 good snows since I've had them on and they are damn good! The grip on snow is FAR superior to the stock Michelins. And it feels quite a bit more responsive on the dry streets as well.
My choice was going to be the DWS's but for the massive price difference I gave these a shot.
Happy enough that I ordered a set for the Ecoboost Flex and they will go on tomorrow.

Plus one more for the DWS06s. Cinci weather is a large mix of crap from snow, freezing rain, rain, etc. After 7k miles they are doing very well in all the conditions I've been in.

PS...you can still do doughnuts in the snow. :D

I've only got a few hundred miles on my BF Goodrich g-force Comp 2 A/S's but so far so good.

Good ride and handling and impressive in light snow. Pretty quiet too.

I'll be leaning on them much harder come Spring!

I've been using the Yokohama Parada Spec X https://www.yokohamatire.com/tires/detail/parada_spec_x
I've found them to be excellent in the snow, rain, and dry roads. Only downside is they wear quickly. I wasn't able able to get more than 20,000 miles out of my first set. But at the same time, I also had a hard time keeping my SHO in alignment and the tires were wearing unevenly. I bought a lifetime alignment at my local tire shop so I get it aligned 4 times a year, which has seemed to fix the wear issue.
I've used 245 45 20 but now 255 45 20 as I found the wider size to cost much less (~$20-$30 each) for some reason.

Hello,
Thank you to everyone who posted.
No snow driving. No rain driving unless I get caught.
Low noise and good looks is a MUST.

Anyone have photos???

If you're not driving your car in the snow or cold weather then forget all season tires and get some performance summer tires. On previous cars I've had excellent performance from Michelin Pilot Super Sport's and plan to get them for this car when my current tires are shot. They have great grip in dry and wet. The downside is they are on the expensive side and life isn't terribly long (as expected with soft compound tires).

Another vote for Continental DWS 06.

If minimal inclement weather operation.........I would lean to a summer compund myself.

I ran Cooper RSA-A's on my '12 and loved them. Quiet and no issues in the rain. Pretty decent traction too and the drag strip. Had them installed for $840.

Does anyone like and/or stick with the Michelin MXM4s? Being in the wheel business... I do follow tires a little... and speaking very generally, Michelins are great tires.
