We keep the gaskets, tube seals and special o-ring seals in stock for just such an occasion.

Any thoughts on not doing the spark plug tube seals? If I just do the v-c gaskets do ya think the tube seals will reseal ok. They are $10 each from ford and $8x2 for the 2 small one in the center. The v-c aren't too bad $65 for the pair. Ridiculous that the tube seals cost more than the covers.

Why would you do it half-assed?

The problem with the whole thing is that the V/C gaskets compress along with the spark plug tube seals and o-rings. If you replace the V/C gaskets with new, the tube seals and o-rings are still compressed and will leak.
