I can't wait until next year. Mine broke last night and I figured if I have to replace it I might as well go better and if I don't find one soon I might just part my SHO out.

I guess I'm not going to give up yet. I'm going to the jy tomorrow and pull one out of an slo, I didn't know they were the same until I did a little research on here.

That's what happened to mine. I installed ALSBs last week and when I got to the rear pass side I noticed it was all rusted and I didn't need to file the hole down to get the ALSB in there. I didn't think it was only going to last a week though. I was pretty disappointed to hear that clunk under my floor board the other night.

you installing the subframe in a ATX or MTX. i'm doing the conversion right now. with the ATX the tranny and rear mount line up just fine but the front mount is over about 4-5". i'm in the process (read its too damn cold outside) of building a bracket to just move the mount over. much MUCH easier then re drilling the motor mount hole.

I read something on here before and I thought there might be a slight difference. I could be wrong though. I even thought I read that the 3.0 Vulcan bolts up easier but that might have been for an MTX.

When I swapped the 07 vulcan into my 93GL, I did the genIII subframe. The frame I used was early genIV/late genIII. It was the same with the exception of the front mount location. I ended up having to use the genIII A/C//motor mount bracket along with the later model mount.
