Gen 1 seats in my Gen2

So, i'm putting Gen1 seats from a '91plus in my Gen2. Question, the rear seat is shaped funny at the top. The Gen1 has the rear deck w/storage comartment in it. Does anyone know if the rear seatback will fit in my Gen2? Thanks thumb

The seats will fit but, like you said, you will have the 2 bumps sitting higher than the rear package tray. One solution is to get a 2nd gen Mercury Sable rear package tray, they have a similar 2 bump back seat but the tray is more like the 2nd gen style (flush speaker grills, no rear glove box).
