Gen 1 PB hood to gen2???

Is there anyway to do this??Shimming it or something?I know its a long shot but I found a plus at a yard, I want to get the weight off my car.

The G1 hood is about 5 inches shorter than the G2 hood or something like that. It'll bolt up, but the front end of the hood will be too short, IIRC...

Just go back to the junkyard and get the fenders, bumper, header panel, headlights and grill. Then it'll fit perfectly.
