Hey guys, my buddy really needs some help. He has a 90 SHO and he has been having some problems with his car. He just had the engine rebuilt and then he had to also replace the fuel system (fuel pump, filter, and fuel pump relay). Everything was going fine until yesterday.
On his way to a friends, the car began to hesitate when he applied the gas. It also died later on. I checked his car out and it is not a slight hessitation. It is a major jerking action as if the car isn't getting any gas. This jerking motion occurs in every gear. Anyone have any ideas? Please help a fellow sho-owner out.

Is there any chance that he washed the engine recently? If so the spark plugs/wires may be wet.

First pull the codes and check back. It's alot easier to diagnose and you'll have to do it anyway to make sure all bases are covered.

Since the plugs are new, check to make sure they are in the correct order, if they were put in following chiltons, they are gaurenteed to be messed up because they are wrong.

make sure the plug wires are seated, they may have loosened. It is very easy to improperly install the CPS, it may be hitting the vane and is in the process of wearing down.
