I am really good at asking odd questions.....will the carpet from my 92 fit into my 89? How bout the plastic door pillar cover upper thingys(or whatever the **** there called)? Will they fit each other(gen1 vs. gen2)? I know the front seats from my 92 will fit the 89 but how bout the rear...reason I ask is because the 89 rear seat has little dumpy headrests and the 92 don't.
The real reason I am asking all these questions is cause my 92, IMO, is pretty crappy! It needs paint, body work, exhaust, new struts, a new clutch, etc etc etc. And to top all of that it has a salvage title. The 89, on the other hand, is in much better mechanical shape but also needs a hood and paint. The interior on the 89 is totally trashed so I was thinking about just using the 92 as a parts car. Lord knows I can find a gen 2 here or on ebay in a lot better shape than mine and for not too much money. Any ideas?
