First and foremost I must admit that I am a brand loyalist. I started here researching tunes and finally after about 300 messages I decided on GH.

I went to the website and bought the SCT x4 tuner and received the half priced tune.

Ordered a 3 bar MAP sensor from LMS while I continued to look for plugs and a thermostat as I didn’t see a thermostat costing 50-60 dollars.

A friend of mine pointed me to unleashed where they had a complete package with SCT x4, 3 tunes, 3 bar, colder plugs and 170 thermo.

I called GH to cancel my order but the tuner had already shipped. So I asked if they sold plugs and thermostat as id already ordered my 3 bar from LMS. The salesman told me about their packaged deal which had everything for $630~.

Long story short, I cancelled my LMS order and the salesman completed my order for the remainder even though I was purchasing separate. He kept me on the phone until he was sure that I was satisfied with my purchase.

Matt (a tuner from GH) is also very active on these threads and answers questions all the time. Customer service and an awesome tune will keep me a GH customer for a long time.

Do research prior to buying anything to make sure you get exactly what you want. Make sure to call to place your order, most companies don’t list everything they have on their website.

Good Luck and happy modding!

In the FB forums. It apparently will only run in drive mode

LOL!!! Complete nonsense! :bonk:I love my GH in Sport Mode - shifter in "S" One of the biggest reasons I love running in S is when you slow down either by letting off the accelerator or braking, the engine rev-matches, it's so cool! It does this in regular D mode also, but in S it's a lot more pronounced. I also have a PP SHO so I love to run it with all the ESC and Traction Control and even with the entire Advanced Trac turned off!

Interesting. Maybe it was an issue with their cars similar to sporadic issues people have with every tuner. Or it goes to prove a point that half of everything on the Web is false.

Missed shifts Ecoboost SHO Owners FB. May 10 Kyle Claypool started a discussion. Saw it somewhere else there too I think. Likely just some isolated cases like LMS had.

I think I saw something in the GH FB page as well a while back. Clearly the guys in this forum indicate Sport works.

Yes, S works with this tune. Enough that you can tell the difference between pulls.

After BPD's experience I have decided I am not modding. If a built motor can fail, that doesn't bode well for my non-PP with the non-PI pistons. I might add a CC at some point.

To even compare a tune to BPD's car is just silly. Any motor can fail even it if is built. I have junked 8k forged short blocks. A tune in these cars does wonders and people have had no issues. If i was going to keep my SHO stockish a GH auto octane would be my choice.

Lmao that's such a crazy leap to make. The man who has pushed his car further than anyone else had a failure using a company that has shown they don't care about our platform and don't work to solve errors, and you think that means yours will fail?
