I need to mount at least 1x 2 1/6" in my car. I have been searching online and the best option I have found online is from ***** Custom Pods. I like the 2 gauge pillar mount but would like it to be covered in the same material as the factory pillar. I also like the 3 gauge center mount but would like it to be perforated so the center speaker can be heard better. Ideally, I would prefer the center style looked more like the Crash712us setup. Anyone have any other options? Know where to source the fabric like the factory pillar? Have pictures of your setup and part #s?

You could pull the factory pillar cover or get one from tasca if they have them and customize it to your likings. Or go full tablet mode

I like the design of the ***** Custom Pod for the pillar mount. Would be the same concept as using the factory part. Their's appears to be bare plastic and the SHO is fabric covered. If I knew a source for the same fabric (or very close), I would just cover that one and be done.

I got ya, i hate the cheap plastic look. Id rather it be wrapped nice to match the interior. Sounds like a good project to learn how to do cloth wrap also

I think it could be done fairly easy with 3M Super 77 spray adhesive. The problem is finding fabric to match close enough that it looks decent. I live far enough out that I gotta drive 30+ minutes to get to a grocery store. A fabric shop is not an option. I really don't want to deal with trial and error online. If someone has a source for the fabric, I would be happy to do it and share the experience with a write up.

This is how it comes back when you order one from Ortiz custom pods. I was going to go to the upholstery shop and see if they can match up to my interior. If I can't get it to match up then I got to take the passenger side pillar off strip it down and paint it black.

You should paint it white, it would match those new seat covers you just put on.

I'm seriously considering mounting them like H&R did in their ride. I really only NEED 1 gauge and the LiveWire. I can mount the LiveWire with the gauge pod adapter. Have both up and out of the way. I'm 6'3" so my seat is all the way back. I think I will be able to see them well enough.

I could be remembering wrong but doesnt @bpd1151 has a similar gauge pod that he had a friend track down and cover in the OEM fabric? I'm almost certain the gauge pod was a one-off but he might be able to point in the right direction for the fabric if I'm correct.

Yes.

I had a custom upholsterer near me wrap it in the OEM fabric. It took them contacting a few of their suppliers, but achieved success on the third attempt to source it.

I can provide a referral if desired.
