Do I mount the pod overtop of the factory A-Pillar, or do I remove the factory trim?

If i'm supposed to remove the trim, how does it come off?

Thanks

You have to take the old trim off. Very carfully pry it off. The litte clips usually snap like mine did.

You don't have to take the existing pillar off. I have mine over it and it looks just fine. The gauge pods and pillars at work we just suggest to lay on top of your existing pillar.
