I need to change the gauge cluster in my 2015 and I need some guidance.

To make a short story long...
My son has recently gotten a job at the local stealership. Summer job between freshman/sophomore college years, though they want him back for fall break/Christmas, any weekend next summer etc.
I think it's great that;
A) He's a hard worker
B) X plan
C) He can work his way up

Work his way up of course being key, he has started washing cars...detailing cars. Cars as they are sold, body shop courtesy washes and customer cars.
One Saturday we were on our way to our daughters out of town soccer tournament in my wifes Jeep GC when he called. I knew what it was, can he take the SHO to work.
Sure. Don't drive 100.
Much to my appreciation, he washed , waxed and cleaned the interior. I was surprised the next morning when I left for work. Except he got whatever cleaning/detailing solution overspray on the gauge cluster that didn't show until it sat all day in the sun at work.
It's only a $20 part, and I'm glad he learned the lesson on my car than a customers, but I have to change it out.

How do I remove the gauge cluster? Are special tools needed? Are there any tricks to avoid a squeaky dash afterwards...my biggest fear?
I can easily see the seams in the dash pieces but do not want to break them by pulling and prying in the wrong direction and such or pulling the wrong one first.

As always I appreciate any and all help. Seriously.

I've got an MKS so I can't comment on the removal. The gauge cluster I take it you're talking about the surround you need to change. If it's a cluster itself it needs to be programmed to the car. It's an important part of the control system. It talks between the high speed and the low speed bus. It needs a matching VIN number in order to talk to the other modules in the car. You might be able to get away with changing the lens on the face of the gauge cluster itself. Be careful they're easy to break.

Its pretty easy actually. You pull up the trim piece next to your leg on the right and all the trim pretty much pulls up. Then you can see the bolts of the gauge. Ill see if i can find a video to edit in later. This vid gets you close enough. Pretty easy eh. He gets to the gauges just hold on to your butt

I recommend disabling the Easy Entry stuff that moves the steering wheel when you start the car. Otherwise, if you need to turn ignition on/off (for example to move the shifter), things can start moving while partly disassembled.

Personal experience.

No, just the front lense.
My son got detailing overspray on it and now it is cloudy it the splattered spots where the over spray say.
