Well, I'm pretty sure that I have a blown head gasket or warped head. I'm going to watch the 60k video today, and that will tell me how to get most of the top part of the engine apart. What all gaskets do I need to order? Is there an upper gasket set?

There are a couple of places you can get the Ford Upper Gasket Set from, most noteably SHO Nut Performance & Ford Parts Network. Expect to pay about $300 for a set, IF you can find one.

HG's are not available separately anymore from Ford, but I believe are available aftermarket.

Do you have a 3.0 or 3.2? 3.0 HG's are available from fel pro. 3.2's are not. I know of someone who was selling 3.0 upper gasket (valve grind) sets for $195.

I changed my mind as to what I'm going to do. The local salvage yard has a 94 ATX with 108k on it. I know the previous owner and he was very good about the maintenance. Had the 60k done to it about 3 weeks before he wrecked the car. Anyway, I know the guy at the salvage yard and he said he'd sell me the complete engine for $ 325. So I'm going to do that. I think it will be cheaper in the long run as the engine in my car shows 205k and I don't know about the maintenance. If anyone is interested in the engine currently in the car, let me know. It's a 3.2 and I'm willing to part with it VERY cheap !
