For the past two fillups this car has died on me and on my wife and both times the gage said a tick below a quarter and the gas light was not on. I have done nothing to the gage cluster and before would run it right to the e and then fillup. Now I dont trust the gage at all. Is there a simple way of troubleshooting this or do i need to drop the tank? Also every so often i swear that i smell a very very faint whiff of gas from somewhere but cant find any evidence. I dont know if its the area ( atmosphere) or what. Its very weird. just all of the sudden. Anyone have any clues? 94 atx. Thanks a lot.
