gas mileage?

hey this might be a dumb question but what are you guys getting for gas mileage? The SHO has a big tank (18 gallons or so)and I've seen it reated for 17 MPG city and 26-27MPG on the highway. The article stated something like a 400-415 mile range per tank (which is probably way off). Well I do mostly highway miles and I don't get anywhere near that.I can go 250, 300 if I'm lucky per fill but with an 18 gallon tank I should be gettin more than that. Is there anything you can think of that would cause this? or is it normal? I don't mind paying for gas but it seems like something is wrong.

That rating pretty much seems to be the norm for ATX's as well as my own. What can I say it's a Ford.

My unmodified 94 atx has gotten 29mpg on the highway on an extended trip and averages about 22mpg in the city. It all depends on how you drive, what state of tune your car is in and what kind of driving you are doing. I don't usually drive aggressively and try to keep my foot out of the throttle. I try to plan my stops by coasting down before I start to brake. Then when I feel like it, I can punch it without a guilty conscience and still get good mileage.

I get about 200 to a 1/4 tank city. I have got 350-400 highway when I drove to Ohio. How many miles do you have. When was the last time you changed the plugs.

I get about 250 miles per tank, and sometimes when I get on it, the check engine light comes on...O2 sensors probably...if i get both replaced, will it make a big difference in gas mileage?
