I have been running on 4 cylinders for about a month now, and just recently discovered that the culprit is a faulty DIS module. I have one ordered, and it should be arriving at my house any day now. Tonight while checking my oil level, I was almost positive it smelled like gasoline! Could this be happening because the gas isn't getting burned in two cylinders? I am 99% positive there's gas in my oil at this time.

And the BIG question: (Is the oil still lubricating enough to stop damage?) :oogle:

Sounds like the fuel not being burned in the cylinders is being "washed" past the rings. To answer your question, change the oil and don't drive unless you have to until the problem is fixed.
