I'm running Gabriel Gas Struts on my 91'. They are firmer than the stock struts and have a more controlled feel than the kyb equipped cars I've driven. Overall, a great set-up for a street car w/o lowering springs. Hope this helps. :salute:

I got a set of AC delco struts for 80 bucks shipped on clearance from Rock Auto a year ago for the MTX. For the price, they're great, replacing a bent RF strut from the previous owner jumping a curb. Other than that? They're not clunking yet with about 10,000 miles on them.

I'm not sure how well they would hold up if you're running Intrax (according to your sig). If you're keeping your springs I wouldn't go for anything less than SensaTracs.

I think the gabriel ultra shocks feel stronger then sensatrac shocks, I can tell a difference when driving them and when installing them, the ultras are a lot tougher to push in.....

that being said I don't have any real life comparisons of the ultra struts on a Taurus..... maybe I will give them a try, WTF, they are cheaper then sensatracs, I got a hookup at the local AZ and can probably get them at their cost, and I'm not the happiest camper with my unknown mileage sensatracs that were on my car when I bought it.
