Careful Felbdogg and SHO94, the fuse circuits were different between the Gen Is and the Gen IIs. I just went through this with a 94 MTX and my 91 MTX and there were some distinct differences. I am not in a position to check for the specific changes, but there are a few.

I did not know there was a difference. What I have listed above is for a 94 SHO from the Ford Service CD.

This is from a post I did way back when but it's for a 1991...should be o.k. for an 89.

Ok...here goes....

#1-15 amp-brakelamps, engine computer, high-mounted brakelamp, speed control, turn signals.

#4-20 amp-chime for headlamps on, front parking lamp, side markers, tail lamps.

#5-15 amp-backup lamps, electronic climate control, electronic cluster, hazard flashers, ligh for the keyles entry system, rear window defroster, warning & indicator lights.

#6-15 amp-power windows, warning chimes, lights for: clock, electronic climate control, electronic cluster, radio.

#7-15 amp-air bag module, & fog lights

#8-15 amp-chime for key in ignition, clock, keye entry system, radio memory. Lights for: engine compartment, glove box, instrument panel, interior, power mirrors, trunk storage area.

#9-30 amp-electronic climate control (if it does not blow air)??

#10-20 amp-high beams, warning lights for high beams

#11-20 amp-amplifier, power antenna, radio

#13-5 amp-lights for: ashtray, cluster, gearhift indicator, electronic climate control, radio, switch for rear window defroster.

#15-10 amp-license plate lamp, side markers, tail lamp, any other optional lamps.

#16-5 amp-electronic climate control, electronic cluster

#17-10 amp-air conditioning, electronic climate control.

#18-15 amp-Autolamp on/off delay system, safety belt chime, warning lights.

I think that's it.... This is for a 1991, don't know if it's different for other years or not. Straight out of the Ford Owners guide for my car.
