Fuse Box??

Sorry if this is a dumb quetsions, but how do I get at the fuse box in the passenger compartment of my '10 SHO?

The manual says its under the dash to the left of the steering wheel, but I see no removable cover there. Do I have to remove the entire panel below the steering column? There seems to be one screw holding the panel that I can feel. Are there other screws or clips?

It's surprising that it would be so difficult to access the fuse box.

I haven't looked for mine, but it's probably to the left of the dash when you open the door. The access panel is probably blocked when the door is closed. This has become a pretty common place for one of the fuse panels to be on modern cars.

You have to get on your back on the floor crawl under the dash and the box is mounted on the left side way up in there close to the top of the dash. There is a plastic cover over the fuses so you cant see them utill you remove the cover. It is a real pain in the ass to get to.

Man, I hope I never need to replace a fuse...I'll never get my fat butt (or gut) upside down under the dash!!
