I have a 95 SHO 3.2L engine. It has automatic locks when I put it in gear. Recently the fuse that controls the fuel, temperature gauge and the dash lights blows out everytime I put it in gear. Usually after the auto locks engage but not always. Also a couple of days ago, I hit a bump and the locks started locking themselves a few times. Since then it hasnt happened again.

Can someone please tell me how to disengage the auto locks to see if it will stop blowing the fuse?

Thanks,
CC

There is a jumper plug under the drivers seat that controls the auto locks when the vehicle is put in drive.

Hope that helps.

its odd our 90 Did the same thing, Out of nowhere they would just keep trying to lock themselves, for about a minute, and then stopped, Somtimes the Stereo would Just Turn itself all the way up, and would not turn down unless the car was turned off....that sucked for a while there...
