This is probably my 5th post concerning this ongoign problem i've been having with my fuel pump. It appears that I've finnaly narrowed down the problem to air in the fuel lines, and more specifically, air getting sucked into the fuel pump. The pressure is where it should be, it's just that most of the pressure is air pressure. So my question is, where could air be getting sucked in from? Are there any replacable gaskets or seals that could be the root of the problem? Or am i going to have to fork out the cash for a new pump?

I don't know if you can order new seals separately or not, but I would assume maybe..

My pump (Jan2003) included a new rubber ring (gasket) that goes where the fuel pump 'bracket' twists and locks to the top of the fuel tank. Instructions said to make sure it was seated properly.

Good luck!
