Are the fuel pump brackets not all the same for the 18.5 gallon tanks? I picked up an Airtex bracket/sending unit and a Walbro pump and they don't fit together. I would like to get this figured out before next week so I can replace it.

The pump is Delphi/Walbro fe0115 (25176210, E9DZ9H307A, F0DU9H307FA, F0DZ9H307C, F1DZ9H307A, F3DU9H307DA, F3DZ9H307D, F3DZ9H307DA)
The bracket is SPECTRA FG29C (F4DZ9H307B)

Thought it was an Airtex

The pump opening won't fit in the bracket hole though. Is that what you are talking about?

I thought at one time SHO Source had plans to start carrying the 526, since it's the one that fits properly. People buy the 516 thinking they are getting 15 lph higher flow, but that's untrue. The two pumps are identical except for the shape of the plastic end piece. Walbro engineering said there's no difference in flow.

I see that this has already been analyzed to death (http://www.shoforum.com/index.php?threads/slight-problem-with-new-walbro-fuel-pump.113683/page-1) so now I have to see if I feel like shoving in the wrong pump is acceptable, or if I need to buy the 526 pump.

It does work we have sold many with no issue. I run the 255 variant with no issue.

We did and no one bought it.

We will have to get back to you on your comments.

The Sender Unit called out is for the digital dash which seems to have a different fuel pump so it looks like the sender might be wrong.

Thanks for that. It is the only sender that Rockauto sells without the pump. I'll return both and get the shorter one.
