fuel pump help!

well i went out to the car today and tryed to leave no luck..

turns out i have NO fuel at the rails.

i assume the pump died:swing: anyways im asking were to find a pump

autozone only has the sending unit with the pump for 272.99 crazy!

advanced has just the pump for 194.99 are they crazy?

where can i find one for cheaper

Rockauto has pumps. I'm guessing that you can't wait to get one from them? It's like $100 for just the pump. At least I think that's what they have pictured.

Did you check your safety trip mechanism in the trunk? Did that get bumped/tripped?

well this is the deal i worked a midnight at work came home at 6am shut the car off.. came out once i woke up around 3pm and the car just cranked???

remember when i put the motor in the fuel pump wouldn't work found out no power to the pump.

so i redid what i had done then since the system started to work some time ago and i hooked it back up stock style.

well i got my self a jumper wire and ran it form the batter to the pump. car started right up and the pump screamed! unhooked that wire the pump barely hummed but the car didn't stall it ran like crap. so i got my self a relay and a fuel and wired it up right straight to the battery.

working good now and the car don't seem to run so bad anymore so i guess ill see what happens.
