I am just wondering. I've got a 94 ATX with 161000 miles. She's running fine with the typical egr flow sensor code check engine problem.
My in town mileage is about 15 to 16 using the AC. I use Chevron with Tecron premium gas. Can you guys suggest anything that will improve my mileage, aside from leaving my AC off and driving the speed limit?

Thanks,
John

Whats wrong with that? That AC compressor is a heavy burden the low-torque engine at low speeds.

you the fella with the enormous sister? Keeping her outta the car outta be good for a mile or two.

My recently purchased 93mtx w/91k seems to be getting mid twenties all around. 16 around town w/the a/c running in a hi mileage auto doesn't sound too far out of line. Have you had a recent 60k service? That might help.

If the O2 sensors have not been replaced in the last 60,000 miles, you and your engine will be much better off with a new set of Bosch 13223 (or 15716) sensors with the 8.5" leads from AutoZone for $40.99 each.
