So I am taking a turn and my car dies. I try to start it and it turns over and gets spark but wont run. I push it to the side of the road and try messing with the fuel cut off switch which seems to be engaged but I cant get it to release. I call the tow truck and as he gets it on the bed I see a puddle of gas underneath the motor bay area. I read somewhere that the fuel cut off will engage if it senses a leak. My question is any ideas on where to start looking for this leak. I did smell some gas inside the cabin before it happened.

Under the motor? IIRC the only places where the line is seperated is right up next to the motor. Right above or near where the P/S pump is at. And you should have plastic lines running to the back.

Just curious if you did any off road driving prior to this, or maybe came out of the driveway hard with a bump or something. I cut my gas line once driving thru a feild in my old Taurus GL. Cut it underneath the car by the frame.. just got scraped too many times I guess.
