I'm doing a 60k on an engine I bought at a junkyard. When I went to take out the wiring harness that runs under the fuel rails to the fuel injectors the fuel injectors just came out. My question is do you put silicone on the the fuel injector to make them seal or do they just sit in there?

There should be O-rings that seal the injector.

You don't want to use silicone on or near the injectors, it can plug them up.

There is an O ring on the injector that slides into the fuel rail. The other end has a "hat". The hat end sits on the head.
