fuel filter replacment

Hey guys and gals,
For those that have replaced their fuel filters before, what is your procedure? do you have to drain whats in the tank to do it? any chance any couplings will breka? thanks

I just did the one on my Gen 1. You need to the little tool to get the coupler off i forgot what its called LOL But i just hurried up pulled the old one off, let a little gas run down my arm and hook the new one up. If your quick you wont spill much gas.

IC... yeah, BTW the little tool for the coupler? its called a fuel line coupler disconnect... lol go figure eh? i think ill just do that but ill make my own tool. thanks

relieve the pressure on the valve (located somewhere in the middle towards the drivers side, looks like a bicycle tire valve) with a rag or lots of towels, then unclip it using a screwdriver of something. Fuel will come out
