No problem. Install at the hotel it is. Sounds like it'd be a good how-to class if nothing else. Too bad there's not a track day special on doing the 60K.

60K's aren't that bad as long as you have the tools needed and then some. My SHO always throws a wrench at me no matter what I'm doing.

Follow the write up on www.shophoenixproject.com and it'll walk you right through it. I've torn down the the front of my motor more times than I can count using this website. I can do a top 60K in my sleep thanks to the website.

Yeah, therein lies my current predicament. Don't have the proper tools, never done one before, and don't really have a good place to work on it other then in the sun. But that's ok, i'm looking for a reasonable workshop somewhere to start wrenching on my crap again. Either that or just moving to a different house.

I probably wouldn't have done it myself if I didn't have a garage and my SHO isn't my daily driver. The summer sun can get brutal.

Just make sure you pack a wire brush with those subframe connectors. I looked under my car today when looking for the fuel filter and wow, definitely a northern car for a few years. It took me two passes around the car before I found the fuel filter. Was the same color and rusty blend as everything else. Nothing majorly rusted through but it is all rusted

Does this mean the track-day subframe special just went up?

Tried to buy a nice track car for the event and perhaps a 2nd lemons car. 199x Acura Integra- rear ended. Only needs a rear bumper and decklid. My buddies sons car and Geico is totalling it and will not let him buy it back after he was rearended last week. *****, not even $500 in junkyard parts damage and the car was mint otherwise.

I don't know. I am going to call my geico hook up and see if he can tell me. My buddy called the adjuster earlier and she says because it has a cert. of destruction (duh) and they are giving him more than fair market value so no buy back. Oh well, spent money on something that has been sitting in the corner instead.
I just wanted to make another lemons car...booo! Oh well, they are giving him $900 over fair bluebook because he has documentation of engine overhaul within the last year.

Just a nice silver 2 door LS. Even had new 17" tires with under 1000 miles on them as well as new brakes all around, engine, and exhaust manifold to cat. Looked pretty slick. Shit happens.
