I hope you'll be there the night before so I can buy you a few beers.
Not only do I hope I can make it there the night before, I hope I can make it period. No driver's license, no way to get there. I mainly ponied up simply so this doesn't fall through.
A track day is something that I've always wanted to do. Just ended up being bad timing for me, that's all. I will say that I am in Lake City and live only 5 minutes away from I-75. If someone is driving down I-75 to Gainesville from up north and wouldn't mind a hitch hiker, that would be awesome.
Who knows, I may be able to swing something.
K-Dawg, I will definintely take you up on those beers if I can make it.

I might have something lined up. SHO_ROLLER_2 here on the forum also liveshere in Lake City. Said he would be willing to go down there. As of right now, plan is to ride with him.
If I can get my license squared away (it'll be cutting it close) I'll drive my SHO down there but that's kind of a long shot. Won't be running it around the track though if I do manage to get things squared away in time.

That was very kind. I am sure if your ride falls through someone else from central FL or south will pick you up. You definitly don't want to miss the fun Saturday night.
Figured if any of the SHO guys are interested, we are going to run a subframe connector special- $80 cash installed at the hotel. If anyone is interested, make sure you let me know and I will throw a set in as well as my welder and everything else needed. Click the link in my sig if you want more info on the SFCs and PM me.
I'll give you a ride down to gainesville. ****, you are only 45 minutes away according to teh google. That's at least the minimum I can do.
As far as the subframe connectors go I'll take a set. Not sure if it'll make a damn bit of difference on my car but for $80 I don't see what it'll hurt. Got any other inventory you want to move? LOL

I don't mind bringing the stuff but if you wanted to drive over, thats fine as well. The SFCs make a huge difference if you track your car- much stiffer overall and serve as a good jack point when lifting up your car as well. I am actually looking forward to installing atleast one set at the hotel!!!!
Track special only bro. I can bring you a set for later...otherwise it will be the standard $89.95+tax w/o install. I am not sure how far Jason is with your TwEECer...been too busy with my projects in my spare time and he doesn't come up to the shop as much as I do.

I really want to hang out with everyone Saturday night...I think that's when the party is going to happen. I can chip in for gas, hotel room, beer, etc.
Sunday March 28th is gonna be blast! I'm so pumped that this is going to finally happen.
I gotta see the subframe connectors being welded on cars in the Hotel Parking lot. That's going to epic!!!!
No problem. Install at the hotel it is. Sounds like it'd be a good how-to class if nothing else. Too bad there's not a track day special on doing the 60K.

60K's aren't that bad as long as you have the tools needed and then some. My SHO always throws a wrench at me no matter what I'm doing.
Follow the write up on www.shophoenixproject.com and it'll walk you right through it. I've torn down the the front of my motor more times than I can count using this website. I can do a top 60K in my sleep thanks to the website.
