Payment sent. I guess it's a good thing I'm doing the 96+ brake upgrade. Not that that will help any of the rest of the car from sloshing around. At least I can learn how it reacts :)

Ohh, the car will be a 95 SHO. At least one will be there from the forum.

Wow, thanks for the fast payment. This track day will happen for everyone wondering. Just awaiting the final word from Gainesville themselves on if half day is fine for that weekend now. List updated!

Well I'm guessing that the stock set-up is gpomg to be docile enough that it cant really get too squirrely on me unless I do something stupid. Now I just need to buy a brain bucket. That reminds me, my head already scrubs the roof. A freakin' helmet is going to be miserable. Guess I'll have to slouch or shrink down to 6'1".

Wish I had one of the SHO's without a moon roof. I would **** for another inch of headroom in that car.

I asked a few friends if they might be interested. Will know more in a week.

Well, next weekend the 96+ upgrade goes on, along with the cruise control switch. Planning to empty the old fluid out of the reservoir, and completely flush the front lines and rears. Hopefully the napa safety-stop cermaic pads will be good enough to not fade too much.

I think the idea is for everyone unless they are local to get up there Saturday. We are shooting for morning rental so that gives even more time for everyone to get home. The contract may be alittle different than the one we did so as soon as we get confirmation we will post for sure.
As soon as they send the new contract or whatever the hotel rooms will be blocked off for us.

So who all is planning to go up Saturday?

Ill probably go up saturday. I still havent decided which route Ill go. I may stop in winter park to get a set of tires mounted, then head up from there.

I just have to remember not to break anything that won't drive home broke

this makes me a little un-easy too, its a haul for me. Getting towed home wont be cheap. I wont be going crazy like I do at the local autox.

well, there will be alot of car guys there.
As long as noone blows an engine or transmission im sure between the lot of us we could take care of most everything else.

there is an large Advance auto just down the street :)

Ahh well, as long as whatever breaks still allows me to drive from Gainesville back to Tampa I'll be good. I have a funny suspicion the engine/trans mounts are weak as well as needing front sway-bar bushings. Guess i'll find out this weekend when I crawl under the car to do a trans flush/filter/fluid. I'll throw my small box in the trunk just in case.

In the 4 or so times I have been up there I can only remember 1 or 2 cars breaking but they were towed in to start with.

Yeah, its not too common to wear out anything other than brake padsor tires if you are ******* them.
