I don't think that is an option right now because of the out of staters needing to set it in stone as well as us submitting our track layout and the initial rental costs.
I honestly don't see too many others latch on to a week or so later date...there will just be more excuses and we may lose some on here who may not be able to make a later date.

Yeah, moving the date is kinda out of the question at this point. Most everyone's asked off work and has the 28th jotted down. Thanks for the idea though Brian

Yeah, i meant to make the post yesterday. Got off the phone yesterday with chris and told him that I'm pulling the plug March 1st. That gives them plenty of time to make sure we get a full refund to everyone.
Man i was expecting more intrest in this...
If you want to race tell everyone you know, your mother, sister, great aunt, neighbor 5 houses down...we don't care. Unfortunatly this will probably be the last track day the FSHOC sets up because of lack of interest and members down here. It would be nice to see it happen so down the road we can do it again but if it falls through I don't see anyone stepping up again.

I think mark said he has some other stuff going on. That would be awesome if you did come, bring come other PA guys with you!!
We put word to the Gainesville chapter of our local car club and all they have are excuses so even the people 10 minutes away don't want to race. To be honest guys, if you really want to race your car...join safemotorsports.com and pay the yearly fee and each track day. No ********, no waiting for spots to fill up, and its actual racing, not a test and tune like Gainesville.
Jason and Jeremie will put in for 2 spots and I will put in for a 2nd spot so we can play with our LeMons car if we get close enough. as of now that still wouldn't make 10 spots and Shadetree was willing to eat 5 spots which is extremely generous but we are 6 away from that unfortunatly. 15 days remaining...we race or everyone who paid gets refunded unfortunatly.

Kumba,I believe 99% its a go, so now that you are that interested I'd expect a payment through paypal now. I have not been able to reach Chris for almost the last week but we are going to run only 10 cars and do a half day rental. Everyone will probably get more drive time, especially with 3 cars on at once. I'll try to get ahold of Chris in a few minutes...I think they are having cell tower problems up pasta Atlanta.

Just spoke with Chris...Gainesville owes us some updated info. As soon as Chris gets it he will post it up or I will. We will probably need to revise the contract for 10 cars and half day or something would be my guess.
