What wrench is used for the nut that sits inside the frame for the front two bolts that hold up the subframe. I tried a 18mm because the bolt head is 18mm but it seems to be too small.

The wings rusted off of the nut and it just spins inside the front frame. I can't drop the sfb to install my police mounts.

It seems like it would be 19-20 mm. I hope it isn't 20 because 19 is the biggest open end wrench I have.

Thanks. Scott

Just cut the bolt off and install the recall kits. Seems if the tabs are rusted off the bolt should be just about rusted off anyway.

it is 18mm. the rust probly made the head bigger. jsut take a wire brush to it.

to help remove the nuts soke them in PB blaster. and soke them again and again and again. then wedge a screw driver into the little tabe on the nut and use an impact to get the bolt free. it will be a time consuming job just don't resort to hammers and cursing. take your time. your heart will appreciate it.

Thanks for the replies. I was able to get the bolt out and install the Police sub frame bushings.

What a difference it makes on a 150,000+ mile car. The bushings that I took out had to be original because there was little rubber left.

Thanks again!! Sincerely, Scott
