Front subframe bushings

I do not see how you are suppose to install these things. How do you tighten the bolt?(no access to top of bolt)

They have clips on the top nuts that are supposed to hold them in. If that has come off...good luck I guess. Personally I don't know how to fix that problem.

With the new plates find those clips... mine rusted away, so I carefully screwed in the bolt to the plate, making sure it was threading and tightened it slowly.

On my '93 I had to break one of the bolts out in the front. Then fished out the old nut with a magnet. Somehow I got the new recall kit nut up in there. It is tight but did not really take too much time. It took much longer to get the old bushings out.

There are slots in the chassis to get to the nuts from the top. Although, I never new this until I started gutting the AC system on my project SHO. One of the slots was hiding behind some AC equipment.
