Just like the title says. My front struts are making a chirping noise when I turn. Somebody told me that maybe the rubber on the top of the strut was dry rotted???????? Does that sound like a possibility? The struts don't seem to be bad other than the noise. Also, if I jack the front end up, the noise goes away, so it's only while the struts have down pressure on them. Can this be fixed without replacing the struts?
Thanks:thumb:

Ditto on the above. Sounds like the strut bearings. Have they ever been replaced?

Mine did the same thing. Replaced the strut bearings...no more noise.

They are cheap, and not too hard to replace. Located on the top of the strut tower, under the cap.

Good Luck.
