Just got my 2013 last Friday. Very happy with it so far. Don't know when this happened, but the front leather flap of the drivers seat has somehow come unattached. I think I see how the plastic clips go back on but it is not easy to get it back on. I have not succeeded yet...

Anyone know why this happened or how to make a lasting repair?

OK, got it back on, hope it stays put. Maybe the detail guys today did something to it.

There should be a plastic strip clip sewn on the back of that flap of leather. The clip will hook on the bottom of the seat frame, then you kind of roll the whole flap and clip under and it should kind of snap in place while pulling the leather taut. You might want to inspect the clip for signs of stress (usually solid white streaks in the otherwise translucent white strip) before spending too much time trying to get it to stay in place. I'm not sure what your options would be if the strip clip is severely stressed.

My 2010 has the same issue. No matter how many times I re-fasten it, it still keeps popping off. I suppose you could glue it but then you'd never be able to take the seat apart if you needed to.

I just live with it and re-clip it for car shows

If you don't see any obvious signs of wear on the plastic strip, you might try extra hard to reclip, or swing by an upholstery shop and ask them to take a look at it. In a previous car of mine I had the issue of the same area repeatedly coming unclipped. Then one time out of frustration I kept twisting/rolling the leather, almost like I thought I could bend the seat just a bit. I heard a "click" and figured I broke the clip but lo and behold everything stayed where it was supposed to and it never came loose again for at least as long as I owned the car. I cannot say for sure if the design in the SHO is the same as that one, but I would imagine it's quite similar.
