On my way out the door to get new front rotors. Have called around for prices and such and most places are comparable to the next. Have narrowed it down to Raybestos or Bendix. Which ones are "better"???

Later!

The cheapest, crappiest, Chineseiest ones you can find are more than sufficient. The Aimco or Valucraft ones at AutoZone are generally the least expensive and come with a 3-month warranty. The Wearever version at Advaced/Checker/Kragen come with a 1-year warranty for about 10% higher price. A rotor is a rotor. Unless they're made of solid gold, there's not a lot of reason to buy "premium" rotors for a daily driver car.

Yeah unless you're getting cross-drilled, slotted rotors or something like that, just get the cheapest brand, doesnt matter in my opinion.

$19.95 Wearevers from Advance Auto. They were made fine and you can afford to replace them along with brake pads if you want. I would'nt pay for Bendix.

As everyone else has said, you can buy the cheapest excuse for a rotor you can find, as long as you buy good quality pads. I really recommend the Hawk HPS pads: No noise, Very little dust, STRONG stopping, and great resistance to fade for a street pad. I can easily provoke the ABS system on dry pavement, and the pads give excellent pedal feel as well.

FWIW, I'm using the Midas rotors that were on my car when I got it. No warping or problems at all with them.
