front end noise

Might be outer or inner tie rod ends. Jack the car up and try to wiggle the tire side to side. If there is any "play" in the wheel thats where I would start. If that is okay, then I would look towards strut bushings in the top of the struts. Good luck. wink

Just got my 90 sho back on the road(clutch job, finally) and I have a clunk/thump sound too!
If your sitting still and you turn the wheel back and forth quick, the sub-frame and motor shifts about ½" or so. also does it while driving, turning, starting, etc...???
I'm wondering if the sub-frame was put back on wrong(?) :confused: because, it didn't do this before I parked it a yr ago when clutch went out!
