front emblem removal.

I have heard of some SHO members taking there front fender off.

I really do not have the time to remove a car front bumper.

Is there another way?

I just want to either take off the Ford emblem and install a Yamaha emblem or total take out the entire center section.

I have seen SHO members install a metal mess but they have also talked about removing there front bumper too.

I realize the emblem can be stuck on top of the ford but it would look allot nicer with it being recessed in.

Maybe drill of the front emblem?

The "grill" if you want to call it that, is held in by 4 screws. The only way to get it out is with a hacksaw or taking the bumper off.

DO you know how others installed the metal mesh look.

(i was thinking about a dremel too)

The time it will take you to remove the bumper cover will be worth the effort. Remove the headlights, then only about 10 bolts, three bolts on the bottom going into the radiator support and a nut on each inner fender. Really pretty easy. The spoiler, bottom panel and cover will come off in one piece.

I am sure its as easy as you say , thanks.

Just not sure if i have the time with a 17 month old, school work and other house duties.
Plus i have another project car that has many things to do.

I was hoping for something easier , thanks for the input.
