I have a Gen II ATX and have a few questions about modifying the front bumper.

First, I noticed some folks have put some kind of mesh behind the bumper, especially behind the Blue Oval...where do you get this stuff and will it stay on?

Second, the inlet-air to the engine is not great, in my opinion. Does anyone have an idea of a pattern to cut the bumper, allowing more air (I have a racing tranny cooler that is only partly behind the stock air-inlet areas), yet being rigid and not gaudy looking?

I was thinking of cutting the bumper, reinforcing the new openings, and using some kind of mesh to cover the new spaces...but I can't come up with a design that both looks good and is functional...HELP!

At one point there was a guy who cut some holes behind the license plate holder. When he went racing he removed his front plate holder and extra cooling took place. When he wasnt racing it didnt look like anything had been done.

I considered doing that...but then I ran out of memory and forgot that idea! Here in Texas, we are required to have the front plate, but certainly not at the track!
