FPR $140!!!!!! WTF?

I think I'm having problems w/ my FPR so I call up the local Ford dealer for a price. $140!! When the regular vulcan 3L is $20. Are these guys serious? Does anyone else make one besides Ford. Napa couldn't find one.

Yep, they're pricey... Torrie at FPN can probably get you a better price. The part number is E9DZ-9C968-B, although FPO shows a list price of $121.80 so your stealer might be actually marking up from list! eek!

AutoZone also sells their GP Sorensen 800-202 version of it for $84.99 online.

BTW, dealers have their own "cost" prices, based on the amount of volume they buy from regional distributors. So one dealer's cost is not the same as another, so their list price may be adjusted accordingly. That's high, my cost (10% over my dealer's cost) for the Ford one is a little under $70, so it's a big markup item.
